The Erdman Family Gets Together

It's been over a decade since the last Erdman Family Reunion. Long a staple on the Sunday befor Labor Day, this reunion was re-established, at least this one time on Sunday, September 6 at the Doug and Tish Erdman residence north of Fort Atkinson. Marvin and Ruth Hauser organized the reunion.
Nearly 100 people showed up from places all over the country, with many traveling nearly 1000 miles. The Drew Francis family came the farthest, although I'm not quite sure where they came from. Representatives of all six families of the Hattie and Louis Erdman family were represented with children, grand children and great grand children.

With temperatures in the upper 70's and a clear blue sky created the perfect backdrop for catching up. Pontoon rides to a guest house on the island offered a little escape while several tried their hands at catching fish in the well-stocked pond. But mostly, people spent their time just talking.
